The Invictus Design Challenge 2020

The Challenge

We live in a connected world where the positive actions of individuals can have an unfathomable impact. The Invictus Design Challenge was an international challenge for everybody to explore their inner designer and reach out to the untapped creative potential within them. Over 50 participants from 10 different countries joined the challenge, ranging from 8 year olds to 33 year olds! It didn’t matter whether the participants were complete beginner or professional designers working in industry - the challenge was open to all. The challenge encouraged participants to go outside the box. They were given a simple design brief, and with the power to submit multiple designs per person, the wildest ideas were also encouraged. While most submissions stuck to our ideas of cars and bikes, some went on to design alien looking vehicles and aircraft. Honourable mentions, cash prizes, certificates and an ever lasting encouragement to explore design was given.

The idea behind this challenge was not to win, but to explore your own creativty and express it any way you wished.

The Community

The Invictus Design Challenge 2020 gave birth to a community of like minded people who support each other. Whether it’s discussing ideas, sharing designs, sketching and rendering techniques, the community gave all the ability to express themselves, their journey and in some cases even respark the passion for design. Every participant was given the opportunity to join this community.
